The food is good. I live in the neighborhood and haven’t had a bad meal from there. Some people I have gone with haven’t been happy with the veggie burger and would like some organic beef options. That said, my burger and fries have been good. The burgers are actually cooked to your preferred specifications. It’s a good spot. Try it out

Joy Burger Bar may not look like much, but the food is excellent. I got the Texican burger with an Oreo shake, nachos and chicken fingers and everything was made with high quality ingredients and tasted wonderful. My medium rare burger was cooked to perfection and was certainly one of the best I've ever had. If you want to get some burgers and fries in northern Manhattan, Joy Burger Bar is certainly one of the best options.

The waffle burger, it's so good I know I'm going to dream about it. They could have used regular waffles, but noooo, they just had to sprinkle them with granulated sugar before popping them on the iron. It was like eating a bacon and egg burger sandwiched between two liege waffles(!) with maple syrup on the side. It comes with a free topping, so get the sauteed onion and thank me later. Also got a side of the spicy mango chutney to go with the fries, and of course that was amazing too. The cookies and cream milkshake was thick and delicious, and they even have sweet potato fries... Ugh, stop reading this and just go already, make me jealous okay? Just sit by the patio because their grill can get smokey, but once you start eating, you won't care or notice because it really doesn't exist while that burger fills your vision and tastebuds with its sweet, sweet countenance.

Have ate here multiple times and yet to be disappointed! The nacho fries are HEAVEN! They are packed with flavor and super delicious! We made our own sandwiches and they are so delicious! This place will definitely satisfy any craving! The staff is friendly. They have TVs in there and have the games on. This place is always crowded whenever I walk by!

I would like to let everyone including the owner know how wonderful Mel and the other staff were. I was extreme hangry I ordered my food. The food was amazing however the patience that Mel had to deal with not only the customers but all the online orders. It looked as though they needed help but they managed fine. I know is it’s hard out here especially as no one wants to work. I have been in the hotel business for 25 years and kudos to Mel and all the staff there. Also I hope the owner is aware how hard his/her staff work for them. One love!

My husband found this place online and it had good reviews, so we decided to give it a try. It's a cozy little gem in lower Harlem, and it was awesome! The sweet potato fries are shaped like little disks and are so good. They come with maple syrup, which I thought was weird until I tried it, and then fell in love! The burger was great too, especially considering how much we paid. Will definitely be returning.
